Stefano Rocchetti is an Italian architect graduated at politecnico di Milano with a master degree in Architecture. He's currently base in London and Milan. He worked in some of the most influential architectural office. He was project architect at Massimiliano Fuksas office in Rome working on international projects such as Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Charme Resort. At UNStudio (Ben van Berkel and Caroline Bos) in Amsterdam he could deeply study the geometrical complexity of the contemporary architecture through parametric design research, material research and sustainable architectural research. He has also been co-author of the paper “Soft BIM” selected and published at Acadia 2012. While working at UNStudio he made an important contribution to several of UNStudio’s winning competition projects such as Abu Dhabi Twofour54 and the Yongjia World Trade Centre in China. The aesthetic sensitivity with sculptural attitude of Fuksas’ design and the sensible approach to the design and the research on the building geometry of UNStudio are some of the founding elements of the architectural approach of Stefano that within the research group “Organic Scapes and Architecture, [OS+A]” co-founded in the 2011 with Gabriel Belli, had been developed and applied to several projects been published on international paper magazines, web magazines and architectural books.
